  • Stop 1: Bethany (John 12:1-8; Mark 14:3-9)

    Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with pure nard in Bethany, preparing him for the day of his burial.

  • Stop 2: Bethphage (Matthew 21:1-3; Mark 11:1-3)

    Jesus sends two disciples from Bethphage to find the colt upon which he rides into Jerusalem.

  • Stop 3: Mount of Olives (Luke 19:37-40; Matthew 24:3)

    Jesus weeps over Jerusalem descending from the Mount of Olives and later delivers the Olivet Discourse.

  • Stop 4: Jerusalem (Matthew 21:12-17; Mark 11:15-19)

    Jesus enters the Jerusalem Temple, casts out merchants, and teaches the crowds while confronting the religious rulers.

  • Stop 5: Jerusalem (Luke 22:7-20; John 13:1-17)

    Jesus washes his disciples’ feet and institutes the Lord’s Supper in the Upper Room in Jerusalem.

    Jesus agonizes in prayer across the Kidron Valley in Gethsemane before being betrayed by Judas and arrested.

  • Stop 7: Jerusalem (Matthew 26:57-68; 27:11-26)

    Jesus is tried before the high priest Caiaphas and the Roman governor Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem.

  • Stop 8: Golgotha (Matthew 27:33-50; John 19:17-30)

    Jesus is crucified at Golgotha outside the city walls, bearing the sins of the world.

  • Stop 9: Jerusalem (Matthew 27:57-61; John 19:38-42)

    Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus lay Jesus in a new garden tomb near Golgotha before the Sabbath.

  • Stop 10: Jerusalem (Matthew 28:1-10; John 20:1-18)

    Early on the first day of the week, the tomb is found empty as Jesus rises victoriously from the dead.
