Jacob’s journey to Paddan-Aram and return to Canaan

Fleeing Esau’s anger, Jacob journeyed from Beersheba through Bethel to Haran in Paddan-Aram, served Laban twenty years, and returned across the Jordan via Mahanaim, Peniel, Succoth, and Shechem to Isaac at Hebron.
