Jethro, priest of Midian and father-in-law of Moses, brings Moses’ wife Zipporah and his two sons to the camp at the mount of God; rejoicing over the LORD’s great deliverance, Jethro offers sacrifices and counsels Moses to share his judicial burden by appointing capable, God-fearing men as leaders over thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens.
